Welcome! We’re Barbara Ann and Alice, co-founders of Sheep in a Tree.

We are two lifelong friends who have always loved creating together. Sheep in a Tree expresses our love of nature, wool fibers, artistic expression and play. Along with our handcrafted products for play and home, we offer a range of learning opportunities in our two home cities of Detroit and Raleigh. We look forward to inspiring your creative spirit!

I truly enjoyed every minute of this wet felted vessel class. Each of the women were amazed at how well their vessels turned out. It’s so fun to watch people fall in love with felting- I sure have! And now I get to share the love with others!

I must have hobbit genes in me because I could so live in one of our acorn hobbit houses! My daughter gave me the book, Wintering and I decided this is how I do wintering! I sit by the fire and I create with my hands. I can’t wait to see these
